Strategies and Retirement Planning

The second day of UEGCL’s Life Resilience Training, held at Skyz Hotel Naguru, was a
resounding success, featuring insightful panel discussions on critical financial topics.
These sessions provided participants with practical strategies for managing debt and
preparing for a secure retirement.
Key Highlights from Day 2:

  • Debt Management Strategies: Experts emphasized the importance of creating
and adhering to a budget, tracking expenses, and prioritizing debt repayment.
Participants learned to distinguish between good and bad debt, with a focus on
eliminating high-interest liabilities to achieve financial stability. Tools such as debt
repayment schedules and financial planning resources were introduced to assist
    in this process.
  • Retirement Preparedness: Discussions centered on the necessity of early

free upon retirement was also highlighted, as it significantly contributes to

financial independence in later years.
