UEGCL Kicks Off Digitalization Workshop to Enhance Efficiency and Collaboration
Today, UEGCL proudly kicked off an engaging and informative 3-day Digitalization Workshop at the Skyz Hotel, located in the vibrant area of Naguru. This workshop serves as a significant gathering point for representatives from various Units and Departments within our organization, all of whom are dedicated to charting a unified and strategic path forward for our ongoing digital transformation journey.
As Uganda’s Energy sector continues to evolve and our generation assets expand and become more sophisticated, the urgent need for digitalization across a multitude of processes becomes increasingly apparent. This shift is critical not only for boosting operational performance but also for ensuring that we remain competitive and responsive in a rapidly changing technological landscape.
The primary aim of this workshop is to align all departments on their shared digitalization goals while collaboratively tackling the persistent data challenges we face. Participants will work together to create a comprehensive roadmap for implementing these transformative efforts—an approach designed to significantly enhance our efficiency in operations while optimizing our limited resources to their fullest potential.
